From October 30, 2011, Jet Airways, the premier international airline of India has introduced an extra flight between Madurai and Bangalore/ Chennai. On the Madurai-Bangalore sector, Jet Airways will operate flights five days a week (Except for Tuesday & Saturday). Jet Airways’ Flight 9W 2769 will depart Madurai at 12.25 hrs and arrive Bangalore at 13.40 hrs and will be able to provide onward connections to other Jet Airways destination. On the return leg 9W 2770 will leave Bangalore at 14.10 hrs and arrive Madurai at 15.25 hrs.
On the other hand, the new flight 9W 2725 on the Chennai-Madurai sector will leave Chennai at 10.35 hrs and arrive at Madurai 11.55 hrs. On the return leg, except for Tuesday and Saturday, flight 9W 2726 will depart Madurai at 16.10 hrs and arrive Chennai at 17.30 hrs. Similarly, flight 9W 2726 on Tuesday and Saturday will depart for Madurai at 12.25 hrs and arrive at 13.45 hrs.
With the improved flow of tourist and businessmen to and from Chennai and Bangalore along with the increasing demand for connectivity with Tier II and III cities, Jet Airways is providing direct flights and additional frequencies to meet the requirement of their guests.
